Mogi das Cruzes, June 22, 2012 – JSL (BM&FBOVESPA: JSLG3), the company with the most extensive portfolio of logistics services in Brazil and the leader in its segment in terms of net revenue, hereby announces to the market in general that it has entered into an agreement for part of the inbound logistics operation of the new Eldorado Celulose e Papel plant, whose start-up is scheduled for November 2012, consolidating JSL‘s leadership position in the pulp and paper sector1.
The agreement involves the shipment and transportation of wood from forests located in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Mato Grosso do Sul to the city of Três Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul, as of September 2012. The full term of the agreement is 60 months and its overall amount is R$240 million2. Investments will be approximately R$40 million, allocated to tractors and tritrens (triple semi-trailers), together with other equipment. These tractors are already equipped with Euro 5 technology.
