JSL chosen to operate 100% of MAN Latin America‘s internal logistics in its Resende plant, in Rio de Janeiro

Mogi das Cruzes, July 24, 2012 – JSL (BM&FBOVESPA: JSLG3), the company with the broadest portfolio of logistics services in Brazil and the leader in its segment in terms of net revenue, hereby informs the market in general that it has been contracted by MAN Latin America to operate 100% of the internal logistics of MAN‘s truck and bus plant in Resende (RJ). This is considered one the world‘s most modern plants and a pioneer in the modular consortium management model¹. The overall amount of the agreement is approximately R$350 million over the full term of 60 months².

¹ Production concept whereby suppliers operate in the same location as the manufacturer, taking part in the production process and being responsible for the complete assembly of kits.
² 36-month agreement, renewable for another 24 months.
