JSL Announces its 2Q13 Results


Mogi das Cruzes, August 12, 2013 – JSL S.A. (BM&FBOVESPA: JSLG3 and ADR Nível 1: JSLGY) announces its 2Q13 results.

2Q13 Highlights – JSL Consolidated (comparisons with 2Q12):

  • EBITDA² of R$ 169.8 million, 15.9% up;
  • Net income² of R$ 23.0 million, 35.3% up.

2Q13 Highlights – JSL Logística (comparisons with 2Q12):

  • Record gross revenue from Services of R$ 913.2 million (+24.0%);
  • EBITDA² of R$ 162.8 million (+11.4%);
  • Net income² of R$ 21.0 million (+7.7%);
  • New contracts totaling R$ 988 million in 1H13.

2Q13 Highlights – Subsequent Events:

  • 6th Debenture Issue, totaling R$ 400.0 million, with an average maturity of 5.8 years;
  • Winner of the 2013 ANEFAC, Fipecafi – Serasa Experian Transparency Award for the second consecutive time;
  • Opening of the 1st heavy JSL dealership in the Northeast;
  • Negotiating the acquisition of a heavy vehicle dealership in the North.
