JSL announces gross revenue of R$554.4 million in 1Q11, 28.7% up on 1Q10

Mogi das Cruzes, April 28, 2011 – JSL (BM&FBOVESPA: JSLG3), the company with the most extensive portfolio of logistics services in Brazil and the leader in its segment in terms of net revenue, hereby presents its preliminary and unaudited gross revenue figures for 1Q11. Comparisons refer to the first quarter of 2010 (1Q10), unless otherwise indicated. The Company is disclosing its gross revenue in advance in order to meet the requirements of the market, although the figures may be subject to change.

JSL recorded gross revenue of R$554.4 million in 1Q11, a substantial 28.7% up on 1Q10, in line with the Company’s expectations of revenue growth of around 25% in 2011. It is worth noting that, historically, the first quarter makes the smallest contribution to annual revenue from services, due to the typical seasonality of the period, which was mainly responsible for the 12.4% decline from 4Q10, which is traditionally one of the hottest in the year.
